Our Story:
Nice to meet you! We are a husband and wife team, Erin and Stuart. I (Erin) originally started my children's boutique, Sterling & Me, in 2017 and have been selling cloth diapers from the start here in Illinois. We also cloth diapered all 5 of our children!
As a cloth diaper retailer, Best Bottom Diapers were some of our best selling diapers! We also loved them for our own children. In 2019 Sterling & Me had a retailer exclusive from Best Bottom called Wizard Pals!
All brands from Nicki's Diapers were sold to new owners in 2020 (Best Bottom, Planet Wise, Nicki's Diapers, and Imagine Baby). In 2024 Best Bottom Diapers was sold to us, followed by Planet Wise in early 2025. We have been so excited to get Best Bottom started again after a few quiet years in was not in production anymore!
Our goal is to keep Best Bottom Diapers the same diaper we've all known and loved for many years. So many parents have come back because they cloth diapered their babies 10 years ago with Best Bottom and want to continue using them for a new baby or suggest them to a friend!
Best Bottom Diapers are all made in the USA with our manufacturers in Wisconsin.
Planet Wise has been a bit trickier to get started again. We are working to get our wet bags back into production soon.
Piper Diapers:
In 2026 we started our new line called Piper Diapers! After Nicki's Diapers closed, we wanted to bring a new affordable brand along side Best Bottom. When we received all of the Best Bottom stock we got a few boxes of the Best Bottom Overnight Bamboo Fitted Diapers. This diaper had been rebranded from Nicki's, but we really wanted to go back to only the snap in inserts with Best Bottom as the covers were not large enough to fit over a fitted diaper well. So many customers LOVED the fitted diaper with other covers, and we did too! Our solution was to keep them going with a new name, Piper Diapers (named after our middle daughter, Piper!), and bring back covers designed for the fitteds - Piper Diapers OS Covers.
With the bamboo fitted diaper and covers, we also brought in bamboo AIOs (the newborn size are my FAVORITES!), and new organic cotton options! This new line is so fun to me because it can really evolve with new products and materials.
Piper Diapers are all made responsibly in China with materials that are OEKO-TEX certified and GOTS certified for organic cotton material.
